"Strength to Endure" 2002-09-04 - 10:13 p.m.

I have a bottle of sleeping pills in the hall closet. I take them to help me sleep at night. The directions say to only take 1 pill at a time. I bet a handful of them would kill me. It would be so easy; so painless. I'm up way later than everyone else; no one would know until tomorrow morning.

But I won't do that. I'll just keep telling myself someday it'll be better. Someday things will be worth living for. I have to be alive for that. I won't let my only memories of life be of the shitty part. Just a few more months. A few more months and I'm out of here; then I'm in control; then I decide where my life goes. I just have to wait. Patience is a virtue.
