"Happy Valentine's Day" 2005-02-14 - 7:45 p.m.

so yeah, as I mentioned at the end of my last entry

I'm keeping my job delivering papers

even though I hate it

I'm getting better

but those apartments are still throwing me off

they consist of: "stop here, drop off X amount of papers, get back in car, continue to next stop"

well I was doing good last night until I missed a stop and completely fucked myself

it took me half an hour to regain my bearings

and then I got lost again at the same fucking one and it wound up taking me almost an hour on just that one apartment complex

I fucking hate them

then after my route, I had to find two new addresses

every day you get a sheet with addresses to add and drop from the list

normally it's no big deal

in fact last night I had four, but two of them were near other spots on the route, and I found them easily; which is usually how it goes

but these two weren't near anything else

one of them I found pretty easy

but the second one I spent half an hour driving around looking for; and I didn't even fucking find it

theoretically it doesn't exist

eventually I just had to go home because I couldn't find it

fucking piece of shit

ugh

as you can tell, after something like 9 hours of sleep and 3 more hours of being awake I'm still pissed

because in 5 1/2 hours I have to go do it again

fuck it

I wish I had enough money to quit

I hope Borders hires me at enough money to justify quitting

ugh

anyway

so today is Valentine's Day

or something

my mom gave me $10 and I wanted to act grateful but I knew I would have to borrow twice that for gas probably tomorrow or the day after

the only thing good was these little heart-shaped Everlasting Gobstoppers that I've been munching on ever since

I don't know

I just want to be awake during the day so I can do shit with my friends; and have money and not worry about this shit
